To Graph a SYSTEM OF INEQUALITIES:
- Graph each inequality separately on the SAME axes.
- Rearrange the inequalities so that they are in slope-intercept form (y = mx +b).
- If the inequality is <> a dotted line will be used but if it is ≤ or ≥ a solid line is used.
- Choose a test point to determine which side of the line needs to be shaded.
- The solution to the system will be the area where the shadings from each inequality overlaps the others.
